Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Forklift Operator to join our team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts to load, unload trucks, and consign stock in our warehouse. Experience loading/unloading line haul/curtain siders will be highly regarded.
Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate forklifts to load and unload trucks
- Complete manual handling tasks as required
- Consign stock accurately and efficiently using inventory management systems
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a forklift operator
- Valid Australian forklift license
- Recent Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (inside 3 months)
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge of warehouse safety practices and procedures
