About the Role
Join a leading manufacturing company in Yatala as an Injection Moulding Technician. You’ll be responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of horizontal and vertical injection moulding machines (120–400T). Working across a variety of materials and automated systems, you’ll ensure production runs smoothly, safely, and efficiently. This is a full-time, ongoing position offering stability, career growth, and competitive pay based on experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and start up injection moulding machines, including new dies
- Monitor and fine-tune machine settings to maintain quality output
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues
- Implement LEAN, 5S, and SMED process improvements
- Plan and execute die changes with the production team
- Maintain accurate production records and ensure safety compliance
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as an Injection Moulding Technician
- Certificate IV in Polymer Technology or equivalent experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
- Safety-focused approach and ability to work autonomously
- Forklift and overhead crane licences desirable
- Reliable transport and unrestricted working rights in Australia
- $40–$55 per hour (depending on experience) + super + overtime
- Full-time hours, Monday to Friday – overtime available
