Job Opportunity: Quality Assurance – Precast Fabrication
Location: Yatala
Salary: Dependent on experience

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team in Yatala, focusing on precast fabrication. The ideal candidate will promote quality standards across all precast panel processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Quality Control: Promote on-site quality for all precast panels, both pre- and post-pour.
• Workplace Safety: Maintain a safe system of work and ensure compliance with safety standards (ISO45001).
• Quality Register Management: Maintain and update the quality register regularly.
• Concrete Monitoring: Oversee concrete for cost efficiency, root cause analysis, and consistency.
• Collaboration: Build strong relationships with production managers and supervisors to resolve quality issues collaboratively.
• Testing Compliance: Ensure compliance with concrete strength testing, slump tests, and consistency checks.
• Product Inspections: Manage quality inspections of products prior to dispatch, including QA documentation review and ensuring adherence to ISO 9001 standards.
• Standards Compliance: Ensure compliance with AS3600, AS3610, ISO9001, ISO45001, and ISO14001 quality, safety, and environmental standards.
• Stock Management: Regularly check stock levels and report to the Foreman.

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong understanding of precast fabrication processes.
• Knowledge of quality assurance standards, including ISO 9001, AS3600, AS3610, and related safety/environmental standards.
• Experience with concrete testing and quality control processes.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• A proactive approach to identifying and addressing quality concerns.
